This guarantees that all materials used on our projects are of the highest quality and meet or exceed industry standards.
Although concrete is a very durable surface it is not sustainable to salt damage in the first stages of the curing process. The use of salt, de-icers and other chemicals can lead to sprawling of your concrete. Concrete sprawling is not covered under our warranty and we are not liable for repairs caused by the use of salt/or misuse of chemicals during the winter months. We recommend not using salt or any other chemicals for the first season of your concrete.
Unfortunately we cannot guarantee that your concrete wont crack even with taking all the proper steps to prevent this. Our skilled team will place expansion joints and cut control joints to prevent cracking. Although these preventative measures are taken concrete can still crack. These hairline cracks can occur do curing times, temperatures and shrinkage cracks during the curing process. Hairline cracks are not covered under our warranty. Hair line cracks do not affect the structural integrity of the concrete.
Settlement cracks can occur due to many factors and elements. Our team will ensure that all stages from excavation,base and reinforcement are properly in place prior to pouring. These types of cracks can occur due to freeze-thaw cycles, adjacent soil settlement, underlying water issues and heavy loads before concrete has fully cured. This can lead to shifting and settling of the concrete causing settlement cracks. If the cracks are bigger than 3/8'' It is covered under our warranty.We will repair or in some cases replace the affected area as required.
In some circumstances larger cracks can appear. These cracks are larger than curing/settlement cracks. In extreme cases they can be elevated or uneven. Structural cracks can form due to extreme ground settlement and shifting/lifting due to water wash out or extreme weather conditions. These types of cracks are highly unlikely, however in the event These types of cracks are covered under our warranty. The affected areas will be removed and replaced at no extra charge. At the time of removal there will be an in-debt investigation as to why this occurred and what will be done to prevent from happening again.
